Charlene was a graduate of North Vigo High School, and was a graduate of Mt. Vernon Bible College in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She was a secretary at Indiana State University in Student Admissions.

Charlene was welcomed into heaven by her father; James Ross Berry, Sr.; and a brother, James Ross Berry, Jr., Grandparents May and Emil Mundell; Richard and Flossie Berry; and several Uncles and Aunts.

Surviving are her mother, Melba; a dear friend, Janice Monaghan; Uncle Charles Mundell and Aunt Norma; Aunt Shirley Kline; one nephew, James Ross Berry, III and wife Kendra Hope Berry; and a niece, Angela Marie Berry; and six great nieces and great nephews.

Charlene was a Prayer Warrior and loved the Lord with All Her Heart; she loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She was an active volunteer at the Humane Shelter.

Private graveside services were held at Roselawn Memorial Park, where Charlene was laid to rest next to her Father and Brother.
