Illinois – Tuesday afternoon the Illinois Department of Health announced that there were another 2,219 new cases of coronavirus.

That brings the state total to 48,102 cases.

There were 144 new deaths caused by the virus brining that total to 2,125.

There have still been no reported cases in Edgar County.
