VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind.  – A statewide Silver Alert for a Vermillion County woman came to a quick end today.

Officials issued the Silver Alert Tuesday (4/28/20) for 64-year-old Deborah Pierson of Universal. A short time later, the alert was canceled.

Vermillion County Sheriff Mike Phelps told us Tuesday afternoon that family members found Pierson deceased.

Police believe her death was from natural causes and that foul play was not suspected.

An autopsy is set for Wednesday.
