More Details About The Arrest Of An Accused Killer Overnight In Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Terre Haute Police arrested an accused killer Wednesday night.

Officers received a tip that 36-year-old Christopher Glass of Mason, Illinois was at a city residence.

He was wanted out of Illinois for two counts of first-degree murder, concealment of a death and parole violation and could face a life sentence if convicted.

Illinois State Police say that Glass is charged in connection to the death of 29-year-old Kimberly Mattingly oF Paris, Illinois  She had been reported missing on April 5th.  Her body was found near Beecher City, Illinois Wednesday.  Beecher City is about 15 miles northwest of Effingham.

He was taken into custody without incident and is being held on $5 million bond.

Illinois Police also say that 37-year-old Aaron Kaiser of Beecher City, IL has also been arrested and charged with Concealment of Homicidal Death. Kaiser is being held in the Effingham County Jail pending a bond hearing.

Details surrounding the circumstances of Mattingly’s death are not being released as police are continuing their investigation.
