Terre Haute Woman Hits State Police Car On I-70

CLAY COUNTY, Ind  –  Just after 9:15 a.m. this morning (Saturday 5/2/20) Indiana State Police Trooper Troy Cobb was assisting with traffic direction on Interstate 70 near the 22 mile marker eastbound, due to an earlier accident investigation.

A 2006 Buick, driven by 21 year old Holly J. Hedden, of Terre Haute, hit the Troopers car in the rear.

The car had all emergency lights activated.

Trooper Cobb was in the vehicle and sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the impact.

He was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment.

Hedden sustained no injuries.

Drugs and alcohol are not a contributing factor of the crash.
