Terre Haute Man Killed In Early Morning Crash

VIGO COUNTY, Ind  – Just after 2:00 a.m. Wednesday  morning (5/20/20) Vigo County Sheriff Deputies along with Honey Creek Rescue workers were called to a single vehicle crash on Harlan Dr in southern Vigo County.

Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse said that when deputies arrived, they found a red Ford Mustang that had crashed into a ditch. It appeared that the vehicle may have collided with a tree that had fallen in the roadway prior to the vehicle crashing into the ditch.

The driver, 46 year old Nathan Hancock of Terre Haute, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Vigo County Coroner’s Office also responded to the scene and will continue with the investigation.
