Sullivan Woman Claims Discrimination Against Her Support Monkey

SULLIVAN  COUNTY, Ind.  – A Sullivan woman suing because she has not been allowed to have her emotional support monkey at the Sullivan County Park and Lake. She lives in an RV on weekends.

The federal court filing Donna Mitchell claims the Sullivan Parks Board violated the Indiana Fair Housing Act.

She is seeking $100,000.

The park board president told Mitchell that she is not allowed to have the monkey in the park. The animal helps her with PTSD.
