VIGO COUNTY, Ind – More details have been released in a crash that happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday (5-25-20) in southern Vigo County.

Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse says that Deputies were called to a motor vehicle vs lawnmower crash on St Rd 46 just north of Riley.

Their investigation shows that a Dodge pickup driven by Dakota Bluck of Terre Haute, was southbound on St Rd 46. Bluck told police that due to a mechanical malfunction, he lost control of the truck, and went off the road striking a utility pole, and then striking a lawnmower being operated by Mark Clinkenbeard of Terre Haute.

Clinkenbeard was thrown from the lawnmower.

He was flown from the scene to an Indianapolis hospital by Lifeline Helicopter for treatment.

Clinkenbeard was last reported to be in stable condition.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the crash.
