Delores Ann “Annie” Haase, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away May 24, 2020 in Signature Healthcare.

She was born September 7, 1934 in Terre Haute, Indiana to James Archer and Lillian Gertrude Wood.  She was a past member of the Burnett Church. She loved her family very much, she raised six children, and baby sat her grandkids.  She would always take the time to talk to her kids and friends to help them with their troubles.  Her coffee pot was always on and the iced tea was always ready for anyone who wanted to visit.  In the Burnett area, Sundays were known for being the Taco day, and Delores started and continued that tradition.  She loved to go to concerts with her girls and sister in law, Evelyn Jones.  She was so thankful for the time she spent in Daytona, and for her birthday trip to New York.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step father, George “Tuck” Tucker, her husband, Tommy D. Haase (d. 10/22/1991), brothers, Jim, Fred, Donnie Archer, and grandsons, Dusty Baker and Ryan Haase, a son in law, Larry Easton and 4 sister in laws

She is survived by sons; Bill Haase (Karen), Jerry Haase, Mike Haase (Robbin), Johnny Haase (Debbie), and Steve Haase (Kathy), daughters; Kim Easton, Tammy Baker, and Cathy Hunt (Larry), a sister in law, Lenoa Archer of Tucson, AZ, 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, serveral nieces and nephews, and a  very special friend, Carol Moore.  Family would like to give special thanks to Signature Healthcare of Terre Haute for their compassion and care.

Services for Delores will be Friday May 29, 2020 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be from 11 am until service time.  Burial will be in Burnett Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuenralhome.com
