TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Protests over the George Floyd case in Minneapolis continued into Monday night in Terre Haute.

Several people were detained by police near the Vigo County Courthouse in the area of 3^rd Street and Wabash Avenue.

News 10 reported that a fight broke out between two groups and a total of 8 people were arrested and then released on their own recognizance.

Police closed 3rd Street in the area of the courthouse for a time last night.
