Several Arrested During Monday Night Protests

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Protests over the George Floyd case in Minneapolis continued into Monday night in Terre Haute.

Several people were detained by police near the Vigo County Courthouse in the area of 3rd Street and Wabash Avenue.

News 10 reported that a fight broke out between two groups and a total of 8 people were arrested and then released on their own recognizance.

Police closed 3rd Street in the area of the courthouse for a time last night. 

Below are seven of those arrested, their age and charges.  All were released on their own recognizance

 

Adesina Clay – 47 – Obstructing traffic
Chandler Craft – 18 – Obstructing traffic
Charles Walters – 32 – Obstructing traffic, resisting law enforcement
Dejanne Joshun – 24 – Obstructing traffic
Michael Shouse, – 27-
Obstructing traffic and disorderly conduct
Nadia Culp – 22 – obstructing traffic
Tatiana Jackson – 23 – obstructing traffic
