Monica Jo DeFord, 26, of Richmond, Indiana and formerly of Spencer, Indiana passed away on June 5, 2020 following an automobile accident.

She was born on June 29, 1993, in Bloomington, Indiana the daughter of Duane Keith Culler and Heather DeFord. Monica worked as a welder for DeFord Welding and also detailed cars at MS Detailing.

Monica enjoyed spending time outdoors mushroom hunting, walking trails and picking flowers. She also enjoyed listening to music, she loved animals, and especially enjoyed spending time with her kids.

She was preceded in death by her granny Janet DeFord and her grandpa Roy Culler.

She is survived by her mamaw Elane Culler; mother Heather DeFord; father Keith Culler; children: Jordan Hockman and Tavia Chapman; 3 brothers: Cameron DeFord, Bryce Amburn, and Zak Culler; mammy Rhonda McGuire; papaw Emery DeFord; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Memorial services will be held at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 East Eighth Street Clay City, Indiana 47841 on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 7:00pm. Visitation will be at the funeral home, on Saturday, from 5pm until time of services. Visit www.schoppenhorstfuneralhome.com to share a memory.
