George Ronald Cox, 58, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at St. Vincent Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana following a lengthy illness.

Ron was born on October 3, 1961, in Terre Haute, Indiana the son of Lawrence and Helen Joan (Wilson) Cox. He graduated from Terre Haute North High School with the class of 1980. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged from active duty he served in the Air National Guard for 16 years before retiring due to health issues.

Ron was a member of the Brazil Moose, Eagles, VFW, and American Legion. Ron also enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Ron is survived by his two children: Phillip Cox of Florida and Courtney Lutz and husband Dustin of Brazil; a grandson Camden; two sisters: Marcia Neice and husband Bob and Jerry Silva and husband William.

A celebration of life will be held at the VFW, in Brazil, at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Cremation services have been entrusted to French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834. Visit www.frenchfuneralhome.com to light a candle in his memory.
