Vermillion County Police Say Vincennes Man Was Drunk When He Crashed

VERMILION COUNTY, Ind – Tuesday (6/16/20) morning shortly after 6:00 a.m. the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a crash on Hazelbluff Rd, east of Rangeline Rd.

When the ambulance arrived the driver, identified as 26-year-old Larry Joe Limbach Jr, of Vincennes, was out of the vehicle and had injuries to his face, he was transported to Union Hospital in Clinton.

Deputies observed multiple containers of alcohol, both empty and full in the vehicle.

Limbaugh was tested at the hospital and had a blood alcohol level of 0.19%.

Limbaugh was transferred to IU Medical Center in Indianapolis for treatment of his injuries.

Police say that Limbach had a suspended driver’s license.
