Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” LaMar, 76, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday June 17, 2020 in Regional Hospital. He was a heavy equipment mechanic. He was born May 28, 1944 in Evansville to Robert Lester and Mildred Agnes (Marchal) LaMar. Kenny is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carolyn (Russell) LaMar; daughters, Kimberly Diana LaMar and Faye Sieple (Ron); sons, Ray Bledsoe (Jennifer), Kenneth Wayne LaMar II (Shannie), and Anthony Eugene “Gene” Bledsoe (April); sister-in-law, Linda LaMar; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his “brother” Tom fisher (Pat); exchange daughters, Ivana Peralta from Argentina, Christina Dalum Lindvang from Denmark, and Maria Saaristo from Finland; and several nieces and nephews that called him “Uncle Buck” or “Pappy”. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Kenny loved working on cars and heavy equipment and he also loved mowing grass, as it relaxed him. He was a very outgoing, welcoming, and accepting person who never met a stranger. He loved telling jokes, loved animals, especially his dog, Josie, and most of all, he loved his family. Visitation will be Monday June 22, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a prayer service and Rosary at 4:00 pm with Father Dan Bedel and Jerry Mormon officiating. Funeral services on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Father Dan Bedel officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery.
