TERRE HUATE, Ind – There will be several road closures in Terre Haute starting Monday for railroad crossing work.

CSX will be closing railroad crossings throughout the City on June 22nd. The closures will start at 9:00 a.m. and include:

1. 3rd Avenue
2. Locust Street
3. Elm Street
4. Chestnut Street
5. Ohio Street
6. Walnut Street
7. Poplar Street
8. Crawford Street
9. 13th Street
10. College Avenue
11. Washington Avenue
12. Hulman Street

City officials say that the closings will slowly diminish from north to south but they don’t know the total closure time. It should also be noted that although Wabash is not planned to be closed, it will likely be blocked by a slow or stopped train for a portion of time.
