Capt. Jerrold Orrin Bevis, retired U.S. Army Special Forces passed away peacefully at his home on June 30, 2020 surrounded by his immediate and extended family of loved ones. Jerry served as a medic in the Vietnam War and was the first male graduated from the nursing program at ISU. He was 83 years old when he journeyed to his heavenly home.
