Ruth A. Miller, 94, of Clay City, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 in her residence with her family by her side. Born in Clay County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Emil and Clara (Bivens) Duncan.

Ruth was a homemaker and her family meant everything to her. She loved to shop, remodel and sew. Ruth was the family seamstress. She was an active member of the Clay City Assembly of God. She prayed for each of her children and grandchildren daily.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Clara Duncan; her loving husband of 60 years, Glenn Miller who passed away in 2005; a granddaughter, Lynette Dibble and husband, Rick; and two brothers, Bob and Reverend Richard Duncan.

Survivors include her son, Ron Miller and wife, Paula; daughters, Carol Haverland and husband, Terry, Quita Inman and husband, James and Brenda Quackenbush and husband, James; a sister, Kate Greenwell; grandchildren, Reggie Sluder and wife, Brenda, Janette Alexander and husband, Danny, Trisha Conkle, Christy Butner and husband, Steven, Becky Quackenbush-Silos and husband, Dave, Michelle Quackenbush-Lehman and Husband, Tom, Beverly Quackenbush, Derek Miller and wife, Tracy, Dana Miller, Chelsie Myles and husband, Nathaniel and Devon Inman and fiancé , Cheyenne; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, July 10, 2020 in Clay City Assembly of God, 906 Washington Street, Clay City with Pastor Brad Porter officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2020 in Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 E. 8th Street.
