TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Wednesday morning just after 2:00 a.m. the work was completed.  The outage lasted for about 25 minutes and affected 234 Duke Energy customers. All power was restored, repairs were made and no events were reported.

 

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A major two hour power outage is planned for downtown Terre Haute tonight from 1:00 A.M. to 3:00 A.M.

Rick Burger from Duke Energy told us that a contractor performing work for someone else caused damage to their underground electrical network.

The outage area will be from US 41 to the west to 9th Street to the east.  Also from Cherry Street to the north and Ohio Street to the south.
