Ronald K. Webster, 83, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away, unexpectedly, on August 20, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent Clay Emergency Room.

Ron was born on August 9, 1937, in Clay County, Indiana, the son of Virgil and Janet (Siegelin) Webster. He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1955. Following high school, he began working for IBM. Ron retired after a 34 ½ year career. Ron worked for Schopmeyer Farm Supply for 22 years and retired at the age of 80. Ron also farmed around the Jackson Township area for most of his life.

Ron enjoyed going on fishing trips to lake Erie each year. He also enjoyed spending winter months in Florida. Ron will also be remembered for his love of gardening and sharing the fruits (and vegetables) of his labor.

Ron was a long-time member of the Ebenezer Church.

Ron married Beverly Pell on October 11, 1957. This anniversary they would have celebrated 63 years of marriage. He is also survived by 3 sons Brad Webster of Florida, Danny Webster and wife Jamie of Brazil, and Gary Webster of Tennessee; a sister Norma Ogborn of Center Grove, Indiana; a sister-in-law Phyllis Dole and husband Robert of Franklin, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, Virgil and Janet Webster, Ron was preceded in death by his brother Virgil Webster and a brother-in-law John Ogborn.

Visitation will be held at Lawson – Miller Chapel, on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, from 11am until 2:00pm. Services will begin at 2:00 with Pastor Bill Price officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ebenezer Church 10909 North County Road 100 East Brazil, Indiana 47834.
