Trevor A. Trout, 61, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Regional Hospital. He was born June 21, 1959 in Clinton, Indiana to Don and Dottie (Cordes) Trout.

Trevor was raised in Indio, California where he was a DeMolay and became an Eagle Scout. After he graduated Indio High School in 1976, he worked in sales. Later in life, he moved to the Rosedale area where he became a faithful member of the Rosedale United Methodist Church and graduated ISU with a Bachelor’s in communications. In his free time and younger years, he enjoyed woodworking, snow skiing, was an excellent athlete, enjoyed electronics, and loved watching American history and military history. He also loved his church and attending Bible Study at Westridge Nursing Home, where he lived for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Evan Trout.

Trevor is survived by his sister, Donna (Gary) Smith; his niece, Dr. Kaitlyn (Dr. Andrew) Elliott and their son, Cameron Elliott; his nephew, Michael Richard Trout; and two half-brothers, Mike and David Silcott.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home. The family will accept friends starting at 12:30pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosedale United Methodist Church, 149 Main St, Rosedale, IN 47874, and/or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3500 DePauw Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
