Richard “Rick” Allen Brown, 58, of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly August 28, 2020. He was born August 12, 1962 in Vigo County, the son of Allen L. Brown and Linda K. Nussel Brown. He graduated from Staunton High School in 1981. He most recently worked for Ivy Hill Packaging in Terre Haute.

Rick was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially caring for his goats. He birthed them, fed them and loved the small herd of goats. He also enjoyed riding his Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Willbur and Minnie Nussel and John and Verdie Brown.

He is survived by his children, Joshua Brown and wife Sara and Samantha Brown (Brian Shober), his grandchildren, Kalli Brown, Bailey Brown, Carson Shober, Aubrey Shober, Parker Shober and Skylar Shober, his sister, Kimberly Isles (Scott).

Services for Rick will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, Friday, September 4, at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4-7pm, and again Friday one hour prior to services. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing.
