Charles “Zeb” Zebedee Mullenix, 95, went to meet his Lord on September 5, 2020 at his home. He was born in Carbon, on March 17, 1925 to the late Ross Jack and Ella (Dalton) Mullenix. Zeb served his country in United States Army with the Combat Engineers during World War II, and married Rosalee Plunkett shortly after returning home on December 30, 1945. He was a hard worker, starting his career at the Plunkett Feed Store in Brazil, and later retired from Logan Clay Products after more than 30 years of service. Even while holding a full time job, Zeb managed to find time to farm, and build fences.

He was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Brazil, serving the congregation in many capacities through the years. Rosalee and Zeb spent lots of time volunteering doing mission work with both the National Campers and Hikers and American Baptist Campers. Zeb was an assistant scout leader, and a lifetime stockman believing everyone should own livestock. He enjoyed working with his hands, building two homes from scratch throughout his life, and always enjoyed working in his garden. Zeb was preceded in death by his son, Jack William Mullenix; brothers, Ross and Tom Mullenix; sisters, Anna Wilson, Helen Thompson, Kate Wilson, Lucille Norman, and Mary Frances Warren; as well as one great-grandbaby.
