Linda Sue (Green) Sedwick, 77, passed away at Union Hospital Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She was born February 2, 1943 in Petersburg, Indiana. She was raised by her parents Verle Green and Evia (Hensley) Green.

She was the manager of many softball teams at Miss Softball America. Over the years, she enjoyed making ceramics, riding snowmobiles in Wisconsin, bowling, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, John E. Sedwick III; and seven siblings.

Linda is survived by her children, John E. (Melissa) Sedwick IV, Jolee Newhouse and Troy Davison, Jamie (Matt) Burger; grandchildren, Christopher Burger, Avery Hart, Zachary Lyon, John Edward Sedwick V, Gabriel Newhouse, Carmen Sedwick; great-grandchildren, Quenten Burger, Liam Hart, Madilynn Burger, Andrew White, Lane Hart; her brother, Joe (Shirley) Hensley; her step-sister, Dorothy (Bob) Weeks; and close family friend, Paula Harden.

Visitation for Linda will be Monday, September 14, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home from 11:00am-1:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm with Pastor Bob Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences can be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net.
