Randall “Randy” Lee Bemis, 60, passed away on September 7, 2020. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on January 15, 1960 to Quinten Chester Bemis and Dorothy Alice Grindle Bemis. Randy worked for 26 years at Columbia House and most recently at Indiana State University.
He was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School class of 1979. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Notre Dame football fan. Randy loved his family, and took care of them. Randy was a big fan of food, he loved to try new foods and new restaurants, and enjoyed cooking meals for his family and friends. Randy was adventurous, always trying new things. He enjoyed music very much, country and rock were his favorites. He loved to go to concerts and enjoy live music as well.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Randy is survived by his wife Linda Bemis (m. 6/9/1984); sons Jordon Bemis of Terre Haute and Patrick Bemis of Lakeland, Florida, and his dog, Smokey; his brothers and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and so many aunts, uncles, cousins. He was especially fond of his aunts Minnie Stultz, Wilma Fordice and Donna Burch, and his uncle Estel Grindle, along with all the coworkers from Columbia House and ISU and the special people he met through the years of his sons being involved in basketball, baseball, bowling, wrestling and scouts.
Services for Randy will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 6 p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Wednesday.  Online condolences can be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com
