Mark “Chris” Hinton, 50, of Carmel, IN, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, September 23, 2020. He was born to Ron and Shirley Hinton at Seymour, IN on August 23, 1970.

Mark was a 1988 graduate of Jennings County High School. In 1992 he graduated from Purdue University and was a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda. He managed hotels in his early years and was currently managing the office of Dr. Jennifer Carlos in Carmel, IN. Mark was a passionate person, a hard worker who wanted to make his community a better place to live and attended all his daughter’s activities.

Survivors include his daughter, Abriann Hinton of Edinburgh, IN; his parents, Ron and Shirley Hinton of Terre Haute, IN; his sister, Beth Hinton of New Port Richey, FL; and his close friend, Jennifer Carlos of Carmel.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Clearview Cemetery, 3630 W. State Rd. 340, Brazil with Dr. Quentin Madden officiating. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled on Saturday from 1:00-1:45 in French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil.
