Anderson Detective Dies After Being Attacked By Hornets

ANDERSON, Ind. — The Anderson Police Detective died Sunday afternoon after being attacked by hornets. Larry Crenshaw was helping a friend remove a deer stand in some woods in Franklin County when they were attacked, and taken to a Rushville hospital, according to The Herald Bulletin.

Rush County Coroner Ron Jarman believes Crenshaw had an allergic reaction after being stung 40 to 50 times. He was 59 years old, and spent 26 of those years with the Anderson Police Department.
