Hazel A. Brattain, 83, of Brazil, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in her residence. She was born on March 5, 1937 in Clay County, IN to Arley and Hazel M. (Grague) Wright.

Hazel attended Brazil High School and had attended Carbon Baptist Church. She loved to decorate and sew. Hazel loved to read and go to yard sales.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Arley and Hazel Wright; her first husband, Franklin L. Jones, (2007) and husband, James Brattain, (2016); and brothers, Jim, Richard, Wayne, Jerold and Larry Wright.

Survivors include her son, Frank Jones and wife, Sheila of OH; her daughters, Helen Johnson and husband, John of TX, Edyith “Edie” Hardman and husband, Ronald of Carbon and Mary “Angie” McKean and husband, Brent of Riley; grandchildren, Lisa Trevino and husband, Raul, James Jones and wife, Dawn, Eric Jones and wife, Becky, Ben Jones and wife, Deanna, Kristina Durant and husband, Tony, Chacy Richey, Tara Brown and husband, Kyle, Joshua McKean and Coty Tolbert and husband, Josh; 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Elba Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 16, 2020 at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave with Paster Chris Gregg officiating. Burial will be in Bee Ridge Cemetery.
