Judy Anne Slater, 70, of Clay City passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1950 in Clinton, IN to Rex E. Sr. and Clarabelle (Delp) Jukes.

Judy was a 1968 graduate of Patricksburg High School. She was a chauffeur to many health organizations across the Terre Haute area, including Bethesda Gardens and C.A.R.S. Judy loved gardening and arranging flowers. Christmas was her favorite holiday and loved to decorate her home. She enjoyed crafts and being with her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Rex E. Jukes, Sr.; a son, Glen Terrell, Jr.; grandchildren, Ricky, Ciara and Cassy Johnson; and a brother, Rex E. Jukes, Jr.

Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Enis Slater; her daughters, Tracy Hines (Tim Johnson) and Tammy Terrell (Jay Walters); siblings, Karen Jukes, Robert “Bob” Jukes (Melissa), Roger Jukes (Tina), Jeannie Juke-Grafe (Steve) and Randy Jukes (Megan); grandchildren, Jarrett Richardson (Taylor), Corine Terrell (Will), Ashley Johnson (Tyler), Matthew Johnson (Jewel), Clairessa Terrell (Nick), Leroy Terrell, Denton Bray, Faith Johnson (Opie), Kaylee Bray (Joey), Wynter Walters, Katy Bray and Honey Walters; great-grandchildren, Ava, Audrianne, Elyonah, Natalie and Emmory; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2020 in Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 E. 8th Street with Pastor Brad Delp officiating. Burial will be in Olive Hill Cemetery.
