Jack Allen Bagley, 77, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Union Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born on February 20, 1943, in Decatur, IL to Helen Irene Bagley and was later raised by Orval and Ruth Bagley.

Jack was a 1961 graduate of Gerstmeyer Tech High School. Following high school, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965.

A printer by trade, Jack was the Print Shop Manager at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for over 25 years, retiring in 2005. He also had his own small printing business, USA Printing. Jack was a long-time member of the Moose Lodge of Terre Haute, where he served as Sergeant-At-Arms. He enjoyed volunteering by calling bingo at the Moose and also the Wabash Valley Senior Citizen Center, where he was beloved by many over the years.

Jack was preceded in death by his grandparents and adoptive parents, Orval and Ruth Bagley; his mother, Helen Bagley McGrew; his step-father, Ivan “Gene” McGrew; and his twin brother and best friend, Jerry Bagley.

Jack is survived by his former wife, Corrine Bagley; a son, James (Toni) Bagley; two daughters, Christie (David) Dittmann and Candy (Chris) Bagley; a sister, Phyllis Marlow; a brother, Paul McGrew; four grandchildren, Justin “Jay” Harbaugh, Evan Harbaugh, Sydney Cunningham, and Gavin Cunningham; two step-grandchildren, Vanessa (Jeremy) Linder (Kysaac, Greyson, and Brooks) and Berkeley Dittmann; a special niece, Melissa Hidalgo; and two special friends, Ed Akers and Paul Quilliam.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather, friend, and all-around great guy. He will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jack’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gowda and his nurse practitioner, Becky Proctor; to the nursing staff on 4C and the hospice units at Union Hospital for all of the wonderful, kind, and compassionate care; and to Southern Care Hospice.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. Jack will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. All guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moose Lodge of Terre Haute.
