Sheila Sue Burton “Sue”, 86, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away November 2, 2020. She was born June 14, 1934, in Gosport, Indiana to Jewell James VanBuskirk and Helen (Williams) VanBuskirk. Sue retired after 30 years, from the Vigo County School Corporation. She taught kindergarten and first grade. After retirement, she stayed active enjoying it with her other retired teacher friends, often times, playing cards. She also held membership with the Elks. Sue is preceded in death by her husband Richard J. Burton, her parents, and her sister Louise E. Crum. She is survived by her sons Rick Burton and Rod Burton; granddaughter Ryan Burton; brother James VanBuskirk. Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 4:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00p.m. until service time.
