
William A. Giltz, 89, of Brazil, Indiana passed away on November 1, 2020 at Cloverleaf Nursing Home. He was born on November 27, 1930, the son of William Giltz and Hazel Faith (Bennett).
William served in the Navy from 1948-1952 during the Korean War. He worked many years and retired from the Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis. He attended the Anchor Church, formerly known as the First Apostolic Tabernacle and was very devoted to the church. His favorite hobby was studying his bible. He was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
William is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Giltz, his parents, son; Gary Gibbens, granddaughter Heather Gibbens, and infant grandson Jack Gibbens.
He is survived by his son Jack J. Gibbens (Farrah) of Brazil, grandchildren; Michelle (Gibbens) Ledbetter and husband Pat of Brownsburg, IN, Jack Jr. Gibbens, Jonathan Gibbens, Jacob Gibbens all of Brazil, great-grandchildren; Lisa Stankovich (Nick) of Virginia, Maddie Gibbens of Chrismen, IL, and great-great grandchild, Beckham Stankovich.
Services will be held at the Anchor Church in Brazil at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 6, 2020 with Pastor Weir officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11-1. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
