Jan was a loving wife to her husband, Robert Flak and a loving mother to her children Bob Flak (Nikki), David Flak (Sara) and Lee Ann Riesenbeck (David). Jan adored her grandchildren Dylan Riesenbeck, Dalton Flak, Kendra Bible, Dawson & Sophia Flak, but would often get tripped up on whom she was speaking to since her children named all the males with “D” names. Jan dearly loved her brothers and sister-in-laws- Danny Coffman(Carolyn), Timmy Coffman (Ann), Kyle Coffman (Jan), Billy Coffman (Cathy) and Jay Coffman (Jodie). Jan had several nieces and nephews whom she treasured. Jan was blessed with the friendship of Shirley Sparks since she was 8 years old and referred to her as “sister friend”. Jan was always a giver. Although, she was not wealthy Jan got great joy in helping others and making them feel loved. Jan was the kindest most loving person and would give the last thing she had to a person in need. Jan had a way of making you feel special and you could feel the love that shown in her eyes. Jan was truly “Jesus in the skin” to those she helped and loved. Jan hosted Christmas Eve for years and looked forward to making the holidays special for her family. Jan will always be remembered for her sugar cookies. Jan loved music and to dance. When Jan was younger, she spent many Saturdays square dancing. Jan loved children and cared for many cousins and neighborhood children through the years. Jan will be remembered for her love and many acts of kindness that brought others such joy. Jan was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Dylan Riesenbeck, brother Danny Coffman and sister in law Mary.
