Gregory L. Hutcheson, 70, went home to be with his Lord on December 11, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Greencastle, Indiana on May 25, 1950 to the late Marvin E. And Myra J. (Twigg) Hutcheson. Greg attended Fillmore High School, where he met the love of his life, Suzanne; they both graduated in 1968 and were united in marriage on March 8, 1969. He earned his bachelors degree in pastoral theology at Tennessee Temple, and pastored 3 churches. Greg loved the Lord and was a member of the Putnamville Baptist Church.

In his free time, he loved being outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. He was an huge race fan, an avid collector, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Kerry Hutcheson.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Greg is survived by his wife of 51 years, Suzanne; daughter, Rachelle (Steve) Blaydes of Reelsville; son, Jon (Hollie) Hutcheson of Greencastle, and eight grandchildren, Jesse (Janelle), Addison (Jared), Jakob, Trey, Averie, Josie, Aubree, and Luke; one great-grandchild, Jesse Kage; as well as three brothers, Phil (Becky), Kirk (Mona) and David (Lisa).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Putnamville Baptist Church (639 East US Highway 40, Cloverdale, Indiana 46120) with Pastors Ricky Brown and Pastor Steve Blaydes officiating and burial to follow at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery in Greencastle. The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. All social distancing, and mask requirements will be enforced. Memorial contributions may be made to the Putnamville Baptist Church Mission Program, envelopes will be available at the church.
