Jeffrey Wayne Potter, 62, of Terre Haute, passed away December 8, 2020. He was born December 3, 1958 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, to Hubert Allen Potter and Colleen Rose Miller Potter. Jeffrey worked at Amcor for over 20 years as a fork lift operator. He attended Cross Lane Community Church. His great love was racing, and he loved to spend time at the Terre Haute Action Track. He volunteered as a fireman for the action track. His favorite were the sprint cars. He was an Oakland Raiders fan, and also loved IU basketball. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying turkey shoots, hunting, and fishing. He could always be found wearing his moccasins and a smile. He was so funny, he made it easy to laugh.

He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ida Jane Cooper Potter (m. 9/28/2013), step children, Kenna Pearman, Mckenzie Clough, Brea Wright, and Bob Mcdonald, Shauna Whitmar, and Laura Mcdonald, brother, Kevin Potter (Elizabeth), a niece, Sara, 17 step grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren, and Kitty the Cat.

Memorial services for Jeffrey will be Monday, December 14, 2020 at 4 p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.
