Charles “Chuck” G. Clark, 69, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Union Hospital, on December 18, 2020 following a two-year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and Lung Cancer.

Chuck was born on October 23, 1951, in Kokomo, Indiana the son of Charles A. and Phyllis I. (Hancock) Clark. He graduated from Catlin High School in Catlin, Illinois. Following high school he enlisted in the United States Army. As a civilian, Chuck worked as a foreman for Benchmark Steel, in Terre Haute, Indiana and Mervis Steel in Danville, Illinois before starting his own business. He began Brazil Door Company in 1989 and has continued the company to this day.

When he wasn’t busy working Chuck loved racing. He enjoyed dirt track racing, stock car racing and especially go-cart racing. Chuck helped at County Line Race Track for many years. He also built and raced many go-carts with his sons and granddaughter. He was an avid NASCAR fan – especially the Earnhardt’s and Kyle Bush.

Chuck was a member of The Door Christian Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Phyllis Clark and a brother Tony Clark.

Chuck is survived by his wife Phyllis (Beam) Clark whom he married on November 4, 1972; 4 children: Robert Clark, Todd Clark and wife Tina, Chuck Clark Jr. and wife Casey, and Antoinette Clark; grandchildren: Lacey Clark Lombard (D.J.), Ashlee Clark, Hayley Clark, Gabrielle Clark, Mykala Clark, Maggie Jane Clark, Charles “Chas” Clark, Carter “LeRoy” Clark, Brooklynn Clark, Megan Brush, and Destiny Clark; great-grandchildren: Mykayla Lombard, Mylee Lombard, Mason Randall, Lynnleigh Jane Johnson, Jasper Gillin, and Ruby Mae Becker; siblings: Richard Clark, Ernest Clark, Becky Klass and husband Bill, Billy Clark, and Kenny Clark; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Monday 28, 2020 from 4-8. Services are pending at a later date.
