Cynthia Frye, 63 of Terre Haute, passed away December 16, 2020 at 8:58 am at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis following a short illness.
Cindy was born June 13, 1957 in Clay County, the daughter of Carl Stuart and Ruth Kerr Stuart. She graduated from Brazil High School, Class of 1975. She later attended ISU and Ivy Tech. She attended the First United Methodist Church as a young girl. She worked at Pillsbury in Seelyville and for TRW as a Master Trainer in Marshall, IL. She last worked for AARP as a placement specialist. She enjoyed helping others and loved working with children. She helped with events at Catholic Charities and at Reeves Hall. She was a kind and gentle person and loved animals also. She was a past member of Riley Lions Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl, and Ruth Stuart.
Survivors include her son, Joshua Frye of Terre Haute; siblings, Jon Stuart (Karen) and Laura Freese all of Florida, Dan Stuart (Diana) of Fishers, Evelyn Greenwood (Roy) and Janet Stuart of Brazil; and her cat, Tavish.
At her request, cremation was chosen. There will be a Celebration of Life for Cindy at the Kerr Reunion this summer. At that time, her ashes will be buried with her parents at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
