Mary Ann Hicks, 87 of Brazil passed away December 16, 2020 at 11:20 am at Cloverleaf Healthcare Facility. Ann was born March 28, 1933 in Vigo County, the daughter of Cyril and Mary Herbert Hicks. She graduated from Brazil High School, Class of 1951. She later attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO, graduating in 1954 with an Associates or Arts Degree.
Ann worked as an office and computer services manager for Bemis Company, Inc, retiring in 1994.
Ann had a close group of friends that enjoyed playing golf at Forest Park. She also enjoyed trips to Florida for time away.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Sue Ann Hicks and a nephew Troy Hicks and wife Cindy of Brazil. Also, her good friend, Mary Jane Willoughby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Mary Hicks and one brother Bill Hicks.
At her direction, cremation will take place with her ashes buried at Ashboro Cemetery on December 29, 2020 at 1:00pm. Post a note of condolence at www.frenchfuneralhome.com
