Gary H. Lawrence, 69 of Seelyville, passed away Friday January 15, 2021 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Gary was born in Terre Haute on December 30, 1951 to Jack Lawrence and Ophelia Swalls Lawrence. He was a retired welder for Great Dane and was a former Volunteer Fireman for the Seelyville Fire Department for over 30 years. He was a former member of the Jaycee’s and Moose Lodge. He was an avid hunter and Four Wheeler enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jakie Miller. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Moore Lawrence whom he married February 14, 1970. He is survived by three sons; Gary Lawrence (Diana) of Seelyville, Frank Lawrence of Seelyville and J.R. Lawrence (April) of Terre Haute. He is survived by one sister, Pamela Lawrence of Brazil. He is survived by seven grandchildren; Tyler Lawrence (Courtney), Matthew Lawrence (April), Kyle Lawrence, Trey Lawrence, Damion Frosahun, Darrian Frosahun and Kase Lawrence. He is survived by one great grandson, Oliver Lawrence as well and four nieces and one nephew. Services are Wednesday January 20, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Richard Dragon will be officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers the contributions be made to the Seelyville Fire Department.
