Francine E. Nevils, 55, of Brazil, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 in Terre Haute, Regional Hospital. She was born on April 18, 1965 in Savannah, GA., the daughter of Fred and Rose (Robbins) Nevils.
Fran was a 1983 graduate of Brazil High School and Ivy Tech Community College where she received a degree in Radiology. She was employed at Putnam County Hospital as a Radiology Technologist until she became ill. Fran loved to bake and was very generous in sharing her fresh baked goods to her friends and neighbors. She was a skilled craftswoman, especially in cross-stitch and fabric arts. She enjoyed watching movies, collecting crafts (especially snowmen) and going to the Covered Bridge Festival every year. Fran had an extended family and many friends at Cloverleaf Healthcare, where she received excellent care during her times of illness.
Fran was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Nevils.
Survivors include her father, Fred Nevils; sisters, Fredia Haviland and husband, Mike and Becki Edenfield; brothers, Wendell Edenfield and wife, Laura and Daniel Edenfield and wife, Olivia; nieces and nephews, Adam Edenfield (Jessi), Cohen Edenfield, Rose Edenfield, Anna Edenfield, Mitch Haviland (Corey)and Megan Wright (Seth); and great-nieces, Zoe Edenfield and Maebre Haviland.
Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, February 1, 2021 in French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil. And from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home, 107 Singleton Ave, Sylvania, GA. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday at Double Heads Baptist Church Cemetery in Sylvania with burial immediately following.
