Joan M. Magnetti, 70, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at Union Hospital, on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

She was born on May 18, 1950, in Parke County, Indiana, the daughter of John and Mary (Braden) Batchelor. Joan worked for Denny’s, in Terre Haute, for more than 20 years. After retiring from Denny’s she began working at IAC in Greencastle. She retired from IAC after 15 years.

Joan enjoyed crocheting. She loved taking care of her great-grandkids as they were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Batchelor; her siblings: Judy, Barbara, Shirley, Jeanette, John, Mike, and Russell.

Survivors include her children: Randie Brown of Harmony and Duane Magnetti of Terre Haute; grandchildren: Brittany Bays (Christopher), Keshia Smith, and K. Cee Smith (Zach Layne); great-grandchildren: Keilee, Vayden, Kaven, Kayarah, and Camilla; brothers: Henry Batchelor and Jerry Batchelor; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Memorial services will be planned at a later date.
