Judy Diane Black, 71, of Harmony, Indiana, passed away following at short battle with cancer while being cared for at her sister’s home in Knox, Indiana.

Judy was born on August 26, 1949, the daughter of Billy and Addie “Peggy” (Thompson) Cormican. Judy had worked at Great Dane Trailers, Columbia Records, and as a bartender over the years. Judy enjoyed going to garage sales, community festivals, working on crafts, and yardwork. She especially enjoyed being around family and friends. Judy was an animal lover. She especially loved her dogs Sazaar, Rusty, Casey, and Sadie. Judy also loved horses although she wasn’t able to have any since her back surgery.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents: Billy Cormican and Peggy Thompson Cormican Farris; a sister Elaine White; brothers Billy Cormican and Ronald Cormican; and a brother-in-law Mel Lucas.

She is survived by her two children: Sheila Payne and husband Eric of Brazil and Bill Bradshaw of Michigan; grandchildren: Brittany Powers, Brady Powers, and Gage Bradshaw; great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rebecca Guy and husband Steve and Rita Lucas; a sister-in-law Mary Cormican; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at Lawson – Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834 on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 4-7pm. Burial will be held at a later date at Bee Ridge Cemetery.
