Edward “Buddy” Lee Coffey, Sr., 66 of Reelsville passed away Wednesday Morning, February 24, 2021 in his residence. He was born in Crawfordsville, IN on September 20, 1953, the son of Harvey Opel Coffey and Anna Mae (Lewis) Coffey.

Buddy attended Mooresville High School. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. Buddy was a concrete finisher before he became ill. He loved to play his guitar and he played in several bands. On September 29, 1984, Buddy married Bess Tate. Edward was a loving husband and father.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Anna Mae Coffey; a brother, Gary Coffey; sisters, Nettie Bush and Kathy Coffey; and a mother-in-law, Lucy Tate.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Bess Coffey; sons, Chad Dailey, Duayne Dailey and wife, Shelley and Edward Lee Coffey, Jr. and wife, Jennifer; brothers, Frank, Dennis, Harvey and David Coffey; a daughter, Mindy Coffey; sisters, Betty Rose Elmore and Marlene Coffey; grandchildren, Destiny and Ava Dailey and Caden Bradley; and many great-grandchildren.
