Walter Ray Folsom, 78, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on February 23, 2021. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 4, 1942 to Gable Folsom and Martha (Munday) Folsom. Walter attended Eighth Avenue Baptist Church. Walter was known to be a neat and organized man, who was always put together. He enjoyed participating in chili cook offs, fishing, playing cards, BINGO, NASCAR, and Golfing. He made two holes in one. Walter also enjoyed the holidays, he was also known for dressing up for Halloween, Christmas, and St. Patrick’s Day. Walter was a Butcher at IGA and he also was the owner of J&W Motors. He was a happy person and loved to laugh. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Jo Folsom; brother Tom Folsom. Walter is survived by his daughter April Luna (Kim); stepson Ron Pratt (Jan); stepdaughter Janet Pratt (Michael Ulrich); grandchildren Caitlynn Rogers and Hunter Joab; siblings John Folsom, Jack Folsom ( Pauline), Michael Folsom (Wanda), Larry Folsom, Betty Like (Larry), and Mary Barnett (Randy). A gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Saturday, March 6, 2021, from 2:00p.m. from 4:00p.m., in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.
