BRAZIL – Indiana Powder Coatings obtained permission to reduce their taxes on a sliding scale when they started business two and one-half-years ago. The company came back asking for tax abatement on an additional building and new equipment at Wednesday’s meeting of the Brazil City Council.

Jim Holtel, human resources manager said things are going well.

That tax abatement was granted.

The company is located in the former Eutectics building south of Industrial Park on Brazil’s east side.

Mayor Brian Wyndham and councilmen Shane Litz and Steve Bell said they have been by the building and it looks good.
