Donald Willyard, age 74, of Brazil, formerly of Jasonville, went to be with his wife and son on March 9, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on July 31, 1946 in West Frankfort, IL, the son of Laurence Willyard and Leta Willyard. On November 24, 1965 he was united in marriage to Kathleen “Kathy” E. Willyard. While they lived in Jasonville, they attended the Lawton Street Christian Church.
Donald began working at Beamis in the printing industry and retired in 1990. After retirement, Donald loved having cookouts, spending time on his four-wheeler and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He took pride in being a “family man!”
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and love of his life; Kathleen E. Willyard, son; Michael Willyard, and brother; Charles Willyard.
He is survived by his son; Donald Willyard Jr., Ronald Willyard (Casey), daughter; Michelle Willyard (Gregg), brothers; Rick Willyard, Larry Willyard, Kenny Willyard, grandchildren; Ronald Willyard II (Tosha), Autumn Jarrett (Lee), Jake Willyard (Brenda), James Willyard, Donald Barnes, Staci Willyard-Winn, Michael Willyard (Mercede), Logan White, great grandchildren and his pride and joy; Matthew, Abby, Sabastian, Everlee, Aimley, Grace, Jacelynn, Aryaha, and Ayden.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at French Funeral Home 12:00 noon with Pastor Steve officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Donald.
