William H. Burroughs, 80, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Centerpoint, passed away at Kindred Hospital, in Indianapolis, following a lengthy illness.

Bill was born on December 22, 1940, in Clay County, the son of Howard and Lucille (Milligan) Burroughs. He graduated from Brazil High School. Following a short stint in the Navy, Bill went through school at St. Anthony’s and became an X-Ray Technician. Bill worked many years at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Bill enjoyed working crossword puzzles and word searches.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Burroughs.

He is survived by his sister Dianne Weese and husband Bill of Brazil, Indiana; nieces and nephews: Jenna, Teresa, and Brandon Weese and wife Autumn; great nephew Landon Weese.
