Jack F. Tiefel, age 86, went to be with the Lord April 11, 2021.

He was born Feb 22, 1935, a life-long farmer and resident of Clay City. He always had a smile and handshake with a mint. He was a loving husband to Patty Ann Miller Tiefel, who were married Jan 1, 1955. Jack and Patty were high school sweethearts. He played basketball and she was a cheerleader for Clay City High School. When Jack retired from farming, he began working for Growers Co-Op. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents Frank and Catherine Tiefel, siblings; Maxine Ream, Jim Tiefel, Bill Tiefel and Grandson Mark Tiefel. Surviving family members include Wife, Patty Ann Tiefel, Sister, Ruth B. Tiefel, three children: Tony (Brenda) Tiefel, Lisa Reed (Bruce Dixon), and Rick (Tammy) Tiefel. Grand Children, Dan (Dena) Tiefel, Rebekah (Justin) Gallo, Jessica (Chris) Hux, Hannah (Al) Miller, Erik (Rachel) Tiefel, Kyle (Chelsea) Tiefel, Jared (Ashley) Tiefel, Jason (Jamie) Murphy, Staci (Daniel) Dickey and 27 Great Grand Children.

Visitation will be held at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 with Pastor Bob Dickey officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Good Hope Baptist Church are appreciated. The Family would like to thank Pastor Bob Dickey and church family for the many visits, as well as the community for cards, prayers and well wishes from many friends.
