Wayne H. Hutcheson, 92, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on April 14, 2021, at home, while surrounded by his family.

Wayne was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on April 12, 1929, the son of Eugene and Madeline (Hamilton) Hutcheson. He married Bonnie M. (Baysinger) Hutcheson on February 6, 1954. Wayne worked for American Vitrified and later Logan Clay for 28 years. He also worked as the Brazil City Parks Superintendent for 6 years, Clay Community Schools, and in the Press Room at The Brazil Times.

Wayne and Bonnie have been members of the Gospel Assembly church, in Terre Haute, for nearly 60 years. Wayne enjoyed flipping houses, mushroom hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Madeline Hutcheson; siblings: James Hutcheson, Carolyn Moore, and Eula Hutcheson.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Hutcheson of Brazil; 3 sons: Don Hutcheson and wife Kathryn of Brazil, Ted Hutcheson and wife Cathy of Bridgeton, and Earl Andrew Hutcheson and wife Lori of Brazil; grandchildren: Amanda Hutcheson, Perry Hutcheson, Candi Burnett (Jordan), Cara Johnson (Michael), Seth Hutcheson, and Tyler Hutcheson (Lisa); a sister Melva Howard of Missouri as well as several great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 11am until 1:00pm. Services will be held at the funeral home, on Saturday, at 1:00pm with Rev. Daniel Dycus officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
