Mark Poland, age 60, of Hobart, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Barb Poland, father of one son, Mark (Kaitlyn) Poland, Jr and grandfather to Autumn and Devon. He is survived by four siblings; Paul, Carl, Troy and Rita Spencer of the Northwest Indiana area. He is also survived by many extended family in the Terre Haute, Indiana area.

Mark started his career in the CNC machining area but found, over the years, he had an entrepreneurial spirit. Leaving machine operations behind, he began learning and tackling many skills. There wasn’t anything he could not do. As he got older, his interest turned to real estate investing. He was happiest when he was busy; always working with his hands most recently in remodeling or utilizing his negotiating skills. But more than that, he loved the Lord, Jesus Christ and loved to share his experience and what the Lord had done for him. Not only sharing his faith, but planting the seed of salvation to all who would listen.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 12 Noon. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Tecumseh, Indiana.
