Dorothy Berg, 71, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away peacefully, April 26, 2021. She was born May 24, 1949, in West Terre Haute, Indiana, to Earl Smock and Lillian Breeding Smock. Dorothy was former owner of the Sewing Basket. She also held membership at The Life Center. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband David L. Berg, who passed away November 4, 2011 and her brothers Chucky Smock, Freddie Smock, and Johnny Smock. She is survived by her children Shelly Berg Jacques (Kerry Jacques), David Berg (Kristen Spiegel Berg), James Berg, John Berg (Carol Berg), and Sarah Berg Kitsinis (Niko Kitsinis); grandchildren Cody Jacques, Calden, Bennett, and Lilyana Berg, Anthony, Lillian and Genevieve Berg, and Kamryn Berg; sisters Karen Smock, Peggy Smock Mullen, Cathy Stuck, and Diana Smock. Memorial services are scheduled for May 8, 2021, at 1:00p.m., at the Life Center, 3000 College Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana 47803. (Food will be served after service).
